About the project
The pop-up photography service was created as a sub-brand to sit alongside Kivalo Design, with the goal of giving it its own voice while still feeling connected to the original brand. It needed enough distinction to stand on its own in a different context, yet retain a sense of familiarity and trust.
The approach was to preserve key elements of the existing identity (such as the brand icon and overall visual hierarchy) while introducing a new color palette, tone, and sales approach tailored specifically for the photography concept. This allowed the sub-brand to feel dynamic in different way than previously, without losing the natural foundation of the main brand.
The result is a flexible extension of the brand: recognizable at its core, but adapted to a more immediate, service-driven experience.
